Having the right “fit” between consultant and client is very important
for your Sisterlocks® journey; therefore, the consultation is just as much for the client as it is for the consultant. Our LockZitude clients are hand-selected! While rules are not
the fun part of this business, they are necessary and we do have policies in place to ensure not only optimal transparency for our clients about our business practices, but also to maintain fairness
and respect for both clients and LockZitude consultants. We take great pride in the professional and respectful relationships we have develped with our clients! This info shall
serve as supplemental information to what is discussed in detail during your consultation appointment.
Consultation Tidbits & Late
Arrivals:
- Please know that your consultation time is reserved just for you and it is very
difficult to fill cancelled consultation appointment times especially when given little or no notice; therefore, clients are advised to only schedule a consultation if they are serious about learning
ACCURATE information about Sisterlocks and making a decision to either get Sisterlocks® or not. Consultation fees must be prepaid within three (3) calendar days of setting the
tentative appointment on the calendar. Once payment is received, that appointment time is no longer tentative, but locked in on the calendar. If payment is not received within three calendar days,
the tentative appointment time is cancelled and made available to other clients. Details about rescheduling and refunds are on the actual invoice that is sent to clients. The consultant
will discuss the invoice when setting up the appointment with you.
- Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes for consultations will result in the
appointment being cancelled. Late arrivals for other services do incur a fee and these fees are reviewed during the consultation when reviewing the Client Agreement.
- If you arrive before your appointment time, please text your
consultant. She will notify you if it is okay to come in early or not as she may be finishing with another client or addressing administrative tasks in preparation for your
appointment.
Booking Appointments & General
Guidelines
- Appointments for
establishments are not reserved and locked in the calendar until the minimum deposit charge is received. The calendar is booked on a first come first-served basis. Please note that
weekend appointments are severely limited, so you will need to be flexible when contemplating dates to have your Sisterlocks® established. All of this will be discussed at the
consultation, but this is important to consider before your consultation.
- Due to limited space in the salon, guests and/or children MAY
NOT be brought to your appointment(s) without advanced permission from your consultant for special circumstances. If this presents a challenge, you may be asked to reschedule your
appointment at a time where this won’t be an issue.
- No show fees and late cancellation fees will be reviewed during your
consultation.
- For health and safety reasons,
when coming for services, your hair must be washed preferably 24 hours prior to the appointment, but no more than 48 hours prior to your appointment. ***Please note that if you have any sort of scalp
condition with excessive flaking, you should wash your hair no more than 24 hours prior to your appointment. If excessive flaking is observed on your scalp, you will be advised to seek help
from a medical professional or trichologist. Excessive flaking is concerning and services may be declined until the condition is under control and does not pose a potential health risk to the
consultant. This will be discussed in depth during your consultation.
Release of
Clients
- Your LockZitude consultant
takes the care and maintenance of your locks very seriously and will advise you during your retightening visits about your progress while keeping in mind your individual needs. Lock repairs
take time and can be very costly. Blatant disregard for the advised care instructions provided by your consultant and failure to comply with established business policies can result in your
consultant releasing you as a client.
